Terms of Sale

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These Terms of Sale explain how buying fresh Trinidad pimento peppers from us works — pre-orders, pricing, shipping, and our refund policy. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Who we are

We are Your Trini Farmer LLC, a small family farm business based in Grain Valley, Missouri. You can reach us at [email protected] or by mail at 112 West Walnut Street, Grain Valley, MO 64029.

Products & pre-orders

We sell fresh Trinidad pimento peppers by the dozen, as boxed pre-orders. Because these are a live agricultural product, availability is harvest-dependent — the peppers ship when the harvest is ready, not on demand.

A pre-order means you reserve your box now and receive it at harvest. Placing a pre-order holds your peppers from that harvest; we pack and ship them once they reach peak ripeness. Estimated harvest and ship windows are shown at checkout and are our best good-faith estimate — nature sets the exact timing.

Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Payment is collected at checkout through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your Trini Farmer LLC does not process card payments directly and never sees or stores your full card details — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf.

Shipping

We ship from Grain Valley, Missouri, within the United States only. Shipping is calculated at checkout using live USPS rates based on your delivery address, so you always pay the real carrier cost for your box. Because the peppers are perishable, they are packed and shipped fresh at harvest. Please plan to bring your box indoors promptly on delivery day so the peppers don't sit in the heat.

Refund & cancellation policy

Our peppers are fresh and perishable, and only harvested when your order is ready to ship, so this is our single, clear policy:

  • Before your order ships: you may cancel a pre-order at any time for a full refund. Just email us at [email protected].
  • Once your order has shipped: all sales are final, because the peppers are perishable and harvested specifically for you.
  • If your peppers arrive spoiled: please email us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We'll make it right with a replacement or a refund, at our discretion. We stand behind every box we send.

Perishable goods

Fresh pimento peppers are a perishable food product. Their quality depends on prompt delivery and proper handling once they reach you. Please refrigerate your peppers soon after they arrive. We are not responsible for spoilage caused by delivery delays outside our control or by a box left unattended after successful delivery — but if something is wrong with what we sent, the damaged-or-spoiled policy above applies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Your Trini Farmer LLC's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from the sale, shipping, or use of our peppers. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Orders are governed by the terms in effect when you place them.
